is Zales and Kay jewelry a good store to buy an Engagement Ring?
My fiance got my ring with Kay, and I love it.. as far as people telling you they “didnt cover” them fixing the ring if something does happen…its probably because they didn’t take it in to be checked the way it’s supposed to.
You’re supposed to take your ring every 6 months to get routine maintenance on it, if you dont, the plan you bought does not cover anything that happens to it.
We bought our promise Rings there too, and one of the tiny stones did fall out..but they were more than happy to fix it. In fact ,afterward (we decided not to wait for engagement) we still had some time left for an exchange period, and they gladly exchanged the ring for a bigger engagement ring and we just paid the difference.
I was really happy with their service.
They may be a BIT over priced, but I fell in love with the ring they had..so that’s where we got it from. We’re getting our wedding bands from them as well.

Gold Wedding Ring scratched…quality?
Is there a difference in the quality of gold wedding Rings besided the karat? Mine is awfully scratched after only a few months. I am sure I can have it buffed, but it will scratch again. Any help?

24 karat gold is pure gold, with nothing added to it. It is usually a richer yellow, almost orange color, but it is also very soft.
18 karat gold is not “as valuable”, because it’s not pure gold. Some alloys are added to it to make it stronger, so it doesn’t bend or scratch as much as pure gold, but it’s still pretty soft.
14 karat gold is the most common gold used in jewelry, because it is just over 55% gold and the rest are alloys, which makes is stronger, but still retains the beautiful gold color.

I am going to be getting engaged soon and my girlfriend likes Tacori engagement Rings. I do not want to be cheap, but also I want to get a good deal on the ring. Any ideas on where I could get a nice ring ideal price range is up to $4,000? Also any special offers of financing going on now. I know some places will do zero percent interest.
Pick a Tacori design you like then take it to a local jewler and have them recreate it for you. Saves tons when you aren’t paying for designer markup and looks the same. As far as financing you need to have really great credit to do the 0% and you need to read the contract carefully and be sure you can make the payments to have it taken care of before the promo period is over. Besides the fact that it would be beyond sucky to have her engagement ring reposessed many of those plans have hidden fees where if you don’t pay if all off they tack on all the back interest and you get a really high rate.
If you can, wait until the holiday season is in full swing. Many stores offer up to 70% off clearance sales to take advantage of X-mas shopping and get rid of that year’s inventory to make room for new…just like cars.
You could buy online but really I always reccomend buying from a shop. For a few reasons:
