Where can I sell a solitaire Engagement Ring that was bought for almost 3000 dollars and get the most?
2600.00 was paid for the ring. Its in perfect condition. Pawn shop only wanted to give 300 dollars for it. I said NO WAY JERKOFF! Please help! I live around Fairhope Alabama.
Sadly if it is not certified and/or of high quality you are not going to get nearly as much as you paid for it no matter what. 95 percent of Diamonds are overpaid, and you don’t get your value for them. They are marked up 200 percent.

I was working at a jewelery store when my fiance and I got engaged. I picked a ring out of the clearance cabinet which was 60 percent off. They were having a 15 percent off sale, so I got an additional 15 percent off the 60 percent then my employee discount was 30 percent on top of that. My fiance paid 600 for a color H, clarity SI1, royal cut .34ct pear shape certified diamond with .34ct H SI1 baguettes and princesses on the shoulders so it was a .68ct diamond for 600. I may be able to get that much back but certainly couldn’t make money off it, I estimate the replacement value on this ring is what I paid not what it cost which was about 1500.00.
My upgrade ring: GIA certified solitaire Emerald Cut VVS2, color E with eex make, v. good sym, v. good polish set in platinum bought from bluenile paid 4000.00 it appraised for 8000.00 that is the replacement value
